Financial Accountability to God: Is God Being Unfair?

Our Creator requires something of us, that some may feel Unfair and Burdensome at times…that 10% of our Gross Pay (our tithes) that we should give back to Him, on a Weekly basis, so that His work on this earth can be fulfilled.

Without it, our churches and temples would crumble, as there’d be no money to Upkeep the House of God and to enable it to carry out its various Ministries.

But what does God say about Tithing? And is He being unfair in asking us to?

Leviticus 27:30 states: “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.”

So Tithing is an integral part of worshipping God (giving thanks and praises to Him.)

And we do have a lot to Thank Him for: He has given us Life, Health, Strength (Mental and Physical) to work. Without which, we couldn’t work. …This is something that we should bear in Mind, the next time we’re tempted to think, that it’s Unfair, to give back to God.
