The strategies presented in post, "How to Get Free Money for College/University!", are based on my own personal experience in getting two (2) scholarships to study abroad.

Scholarships

   Has a Quick Degree Finder that helps you find scholarships, based on the Degree/certificate you wish to pursue. (Canadian and US Scholarships, scholarships to Christian Universities and Colleges, scholarships for minority students and a listing of colleges/universities that accomodate disabled students, are also available).




3. Best Scholarship Sites on the Web

   Best scholarship sites, as compiled by a researcher, who has spent countless hours researching the best scholarship sites. By her own admission, this list is not comprehensive, but is a great place to start your scholarship search.

   Massive scholarship database of 1.5 million scholarships that are worth $3.4 billion. (Search for FREE!) Scholarships that match your profile, are delivered in your email.

   "Unique" scholarships also available, e.g. military scholarships, scholarships for left-handed people and Star-Trek fans who speak Klingon. :)




5. Find International Scholarships at Scholarship-Positions.com

   This site specializes in International Scholarships, for study globally (from the Undergraduate to Doctoral levels)! Check them out if you really want to study overseas.

   These Include Post Graduate Fellowships and Scholarships.

Scholarships for Jamaican/International Students

 

1. Japan Scholarships

   Gives great information re studying in Japan and how to access Japanese scholarships from the Japanese embassy in Jamaica.  NB: The deadline for these scholarships is June 11, 2011.
