Maurice Smith, Jamaica's only entrant in the Decathlon, is out, due to injury (he strained a muscle in the 100m Decathlon, today)...
According to CVM Television's reporter in Berlin - Wayne Walker, Maurice was examined by his doctor who said that he might be out of competition for the next six (6) weeks.
Highlights of Yesterday's Results

Congratulations are in order for 2008 Olympic Silver medalist - Shericka Williams and Novlene Williams-Mills who got the silver and finished fourth, respectively, in the 400m final (female), yesterday!!

Congratulations are also in order for Jamaican-born -Sanya Richards (of the USA), who won the event.

Melaine Walker and Kaliese Spencer are through to the 400m Hurdles (final) having finished at 53.26 secs and 54.37 secs respectively.

Usain Bolt and Steve Mullings are through to the Sem-Finals of the 200m (male) having finished at 20.41 secs and 20.23 secs, respectively.
Today's Results
Maurice Wignall and Dwight Thomas have qualified for the Semi-Finals of the 110M hurdles (to be run tomorrow) with speeds of 13.62 and 13.57 secs, respectively.
