We decided to add an electronics storefront to GWAP, so as to give you more choice and to provide you with a one-stop-site for your all your electronics and technology needs.

 

We will be updating the storefront, every Monday, to coincide with our "Hot Deals Monday" policy of bringing you new Tech Gadgets, Accessories, Software, Electronics, Appliances, etc., every Monday.

Usain Bolt Can Now Be Called, the Honorable Usain Bolt!

Following his world-record wins in the 2009 IAAF Berlin World Championships, Usain Bolt returned to Jamaica, to get some well-needed rest.

Today, Jamaican Prime Minister, Bruce Golding, announced in Parliament, that as a result of Usain's achievements in Berlin, he will be receiving the following honours:

1. Highway 2000, a major thoroughfare which connects Kingston with Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, will now be named, "The Usain Bolt Highway"

   
   

2. Usain will be bestowed with Jamaica's 4th highest national honour, the Commander of the Order of Jamaica, which entitles him to be called, "The Honorable Usain Bolt"

   
   

3. He will also be given the title, Ambassador at Large - with full diplomatic privileges accorded to a person with this title.

This is indeed good!

We want to congratulate Usain Bolt and wish him all the best!, as he seeks to attain legendary status in athletics!

In the same vein, all the athletes who participated and attained during the 2009 Berlin World Championships, will be honored by the Jamaican government, between October 2-4.

Well friends, the lady diva, Brown Sugar, has won Digicel Rising Stars 2009!
