Marlon King, famous Jamaican footballer (a Reggae Boy) and a very talented player for Wigan Athletic, in the United Kingdom, was today convicted of sexually assaulting a woman at a nightclub, in December 2008 and causing her bodily harm.
It is said that he was out drinking and celebrating both his wife's pregnancy and the scoring of a goal, when female clubbers snubbed his advances.
He is said to have lost his temper when the last female, rejected his advances and so he smashed her to the floor.
When other clubbers tried to restrain him...it is said that his single clenched fist was so powerful, that it sent them flying.
...The push he gave the 20-year old woman was so hard, that it broke her nose.
In his defense, Marlon has been saying that the woman was mistaken...that it wasn't him, but witness after witness, verified that Marlon was the woman's attacker.
Well the jury didn't buy Marlon's "mistaken identity" defense and given his history of abusing people when angry and/or drunk, found him guilty. As a result, the judge sentenced Marlon to 18 months in prison, today.
Hmmh!

I am begging my young friends, both male and female, to note this incident and the results, very carefully.
Drinking too much alcohol turns you into a fool...as it makes reasonable people say stupid things, reveal things they shouldn't, and act in ways that make them and their families embarrassed when they are finally sober.
King Solomon (from the Bible), the wisest man on earth, had this to say about alcohol in Proverbs 20:1- "Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise".

For many teens, younger and older adults...drinking with the "boys" and "girls" is a favorite pass-time.
...And in many cultures,...it's the norm for unwinding after a rough week at work, or after tedious weeks of studying for exams.
However, we see that, as a result of having too much to drink, Marlon:
1) Has lost 18 months of being with his wife, child and the rest of his family
2) Has lost 18 months of revenue - for he can't play professional football in prison. [He has lost his £35,000 (US $57,296)/month salary and his £1 million (US $1.64 million) contract with Wigon Athletic, will be revoked].
3) Will be thrown in prison, with hardened criminals, some of whom will be sure to make him their "sweet boy". (Oh yes, young people, when most males go to prison, gay prisoners rape them, and make them their "sweet boy" - their untouched bottom virgin...
These "sweet boys", then turn around and rape new prisoners...and so on...
...So prison is a place you want to stay far from, if you're not that way inclined).
4) Has damaged his reputation - as this stain will forever be over his head.

So young people, use Marlon's case as a strong warning!
...Please stay away from alcohol:
1) It's initial taste is bitter for a reason...
2) Too much of it, makes you throw-up for a reason...
It's a signal that it will cause bitterness in your life, if you hug it up and befriend it.
...This initial warning should be enough, for sensible people, to run far away from it!
