Betty-Ann Blaine, former Talk Show host and convener of "Hear the Children's Cry" (an advocacy group committed to the wellbeing and welfare of Jamaica's children), formed a new political party in Jamaica, yesterday.
...it's name?: New Nation Coalition.
It's based on Christian principles and promotes justice, peace and prosperity amongst Jamaicans.
Mrs. Blaine is hoping to mobilize Jamaicans to rediscover who we are and to realize just how talented and powerful we are, as a people.
She gave up her position as host of radio Talk Show "On the Agenda", to concentrate fully on molding this new party. She also says that her being host of a national Talk Show, would represent a conflict of interest.
GWAP Blog wishes her all the best in her efforts.
