Jamaica's former netball captain, Simone Forbes, had her disciplinary hearing today into doping allegations...
...this is after the banned substance, Clomiphene, was found in her urine sample, recently.
Simone's doctor told the Jamaica Anti- Doping Commission (JADCO) panel, today, that Simone is being treated to enable her recovery from pelvic surgery.
He told them that he, hadn't realized that the substance contained in Simone's medication, was on WADA' s list of banned substances for 2011.

Correction, Simone's doctor is a male, not female

(WADA -The World Anti-Doping Agency promotes, coordinates and monitors the fight against doping in sport in all its forms.
Apparently Clomiphene is used by steroid users, but is also used to treat women with fertility problems).
According to article,"Forbes returns 'adverse finding'", Simone has had a sterling record of representing Jamaica at all age-group levels in netball.
"As a member of the Sunshine Girls, she won bronze medals at the 2003 and 2007 World Netball Championships and at the Commonwealth Games in 2002.
She also won a silver medal at the inaugural World Netball Series in 2009, followed by another bronze in 2010".
Simone's hearing continues on Friday at the Institute of Jamaica.
