Google Cloud Print (beta) is a wonderful app for Google Chrome (Google's browser), that allows you to print documents remotely.
(In fact its tagline states, "Print anywhere from any device").
So if you're stuck in traffic and have a deadline to meet, that requires you to print a report, you can send the report from your smartphone to your office printer and wallah! - the document gets printed, so that you can have it upon arrival.
Google Cloud Print in is beta and was introduced last year October, but already has six (6) million printers connected.
Printers and devices get connected via Google's Cloud Services.
The great thing about this app is that it facilitates remote printing via both e-printers - (printers equipped to facilitate printing via the Internet) and legacy printers with no Internet connectivity...
(...Just as long as your legacy printer is connected to a device that has Internet connectivity).
This is a very handy tool to use if you want to print documents, but have no access to a printer...which is excellent for field work or for use when travelling.
Google Cloud Print even has handy - Getting Started docs and a FAQ section that enable you to learn more about how the app works.
So why not check it out and experience a new dimension of printing?
[You must have a Google account to use Google Cloud Print (beta)].
