Well, we couldn't start the New Year without some words of encouragement...
...So, here goes:
2011 was rough for most.
But 2012 is a New Year with very new possibilities.
Life is filled with challenges, but it's how we approach our challenges that determine whether or not we'll be successful.
When life's circumstances throw us a curve ball, we decide whether or not to stay flat on the ground, or to get up, walk and move on.
May we be people who get up, walk and move on.
May we cultivate friendships and relationships with like-minded people who will be marrow to our bones and not bone-breakers.
(People who are builders and not bulldozers in our lives...please see our note re "building", below).
May we learn from our mistakes.
May we be spiritually-centred, by have a willingness to listen to God in all our endeavours.
For truly He has promised to direct us if we listen to and obey Him/His word.
May we seek to the benefit of others (may we seek to build up others and not tear them down).
For it's in building that we receive the greatest blessings - that of positively contributing to someone else's life.
May our homes and communities be better, for us being in them.
It is our wish that your New Year will be one of new beginnings, rediscovered talents and skills; spiritual, personal and professional development and progress.
