Congratulations go out to US President-Elect Barack Obama who has won the required number of Electoral College Votes, needed to retain the US presidency.

(Barack Obama won with 303 Electoral College votes to Mitt Romney's 206 votes.
He needed 270 Electoral College votes to win).
However, the Popular Vote of:
- Mitt Romney - 50%
- Barack Obama - 49%
...may prove problematic for the US President, when it comes to voting for issues in the House of Representatives, along party lines.
His inauguration will be on January 21,2012.
