Tonight promises to be an exciting Digicel Rising Stars Results Show!
(Digicel Rising Stars is the Jamaican version of American Idol - and is a production of Television Jamaica. Its main sponsor is Digicel Jamaica).
The winning contestant will be announced...
The two women 'battling' it out are:
1) Princess Tia: a strong, soulful rastafarian woman...with an ok voice
2) Brown Sugar: a woman with good talent, who can rock to the music and who stunned at least one male judge, on Sunday, with her sexiness.
Unfortunately Jamaicans repeated the same mistake they made last year, by voting off the contestant with the best voice - Adena Myrie.
Adena is a singing sensation, who, unfortunately, just didn't get enough votes to stay in contention, in the competition.
(If we can stretch our minds back, that far, this also happened to Lenya Wilks, last year).
Nonetheless, Adena gained 3rd position in the competition and went away with JMD $400,000 (US $4,705.9).

The winner tonight walks away with JMD $1 million (US $11,764.7), a singing contract and a video.
The runner-up will walk away with JMD $600,000 (USD $7,058.8).
Digicel Rising Stars will start at 8:30 p.m., tonight, and will be televised live on Television Jamaica and at Mas Camp - where many people will be gathered to be entertained by Digicel Rising Stars, past and present.
