Our Analysis of the 200m Men Final
Yohan Blake has proven that, mentally and physically, he is ready to take the men's 100m and 200m titles at the London 2012 Olympics.
Glen Mills', Usain Bolt's coach, has said that Bolt went into the Jamaica National Trials 2012 with a minor injury.
[Well, this would explain his lackluster starts and performances in both the 100m and 200m.
However, Usain Bolt does have 3.5 weeks to work on his start and we should see a different (physically ready) Usain Bolt, at the London 2012 Olympics].
Our Analysis of the 200m (Women) Final
The performances of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Sherone Simpson, again prove that their coach, Stephen Francis, does know how to get his athletes ready for the big events.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will definitely give the Americans - Carmelita Jeter and Allyson Felix, a run for their money in this event. (Allyson Felix clocked 21.69 s at the US National Trials over the weekend - the 4th fastest time in history. Carmelita Jeter is the ).
However, Veronica Campbell-Brown will still be a serious contender for the 200m title, as she wants to defend her 2008 Olympic title and is also adept at putting in winning performances at the big events - the Olympics and World Championships.
The London 2012 Olympics should see some interesting and nail-biting performances in Track & Field (Athletics).
We wish all our Jamaican athletes the best!
We're looking forward to great performances from you!
